Under the Lights at Arnold Field

Come out to Arnold Field this Friday night, November 21
to watch the Exhibition Game between the
U14B Santos v U15B Crush
at 6:45pm.

Before the game starts your favorite select and recreational coaches
will be on the field for the Pre-Game Game at 5:30pm.

U15G Sonoma United take 2nd at Sonoma Halloween Classic the weekend of October 22nd and 23rd.

Sonoma United started their three preliminary games with great courage and determination. Their first victory was defeating Redding 1-0. Then; Vacaville impulse   5-1 fallowed by Inferno 1-0.

This way the girls made it to the championship game. This time they played against U16G Sonoma Excel. Sonoma Excel scored first 2-0, but soon Sonoma United tied the score and they stayed tied for olmost all the game and it was at the very last minute when Sonoma Excel scored two more goals ending the game 2-4.

U14B Santos Win Halloween Classic Print E-mail

The Santos, Sonoma's Under-14 Boys Select soccer team, took home another set of trophies on Sunday September 26th when won first place at the Sonoma Halloween Classic.  Earlier in the weekend they played the Annadel Harps, the Redding Kaos Arsenal, and the El Dorado Heat to secure first place in their flight.  In the championship match on Sunday afternoon, they defeated the top team from the other flight, the River City Raptors, 3 to 0.  The Santos goals were scored by Jonah Son, Connor Griggs-Demmin, and Pedro Napoles, with assists from Jaxson Strong and Paco Martinez.

The Santos have now placed in seven straight tournaments and have won their last three tournaments.

Sonoma Xtreme U14G win Halloween Classic Print E-mail

The U14 Sonoma Xtreme played exceptional soccer all weekend to win the U14G Halloween Classic title.

They started the tournament off with a win over Napa Titans 6-0. The girls battled a great game againest Landpark Dragonflies, coming out with the victory, 2-1. Sunday morning earned another victory over ABSC Strikers Berkeley 5-0 and clenched the championship berth.

In the championship, it was a nail biting game against Juventus Blaze Redwood City, going into 1/2 time with a 0-0 score. Xtreme found the net with 15 minutes to go, eventually ending the game with a 2-0 victory. What a great feeling to win a championship on your home turf.

Next up Xtreme will be defending their title at the Redding December Classic on December 13-14.......Go Xtreme!!
