They started the tournament off with a win over Napa Titans 6-0. The girls battled a great game againest Landpark Dragonflies, coming out with the victory, 2-1. Sunday morning earned another victory over ABSC Strikers Berkeley 5-0 and clenched the championship berth.
In the championship, it was a nail biting game against Juventus Blaze Redwood City, going into 1/2 time with a 0-0 score. Xtreme found the net with 15 minutes to go, eventually ending the game with a 2-0 victory. What a great feeling to win a championship on your home turf.
Next up Xtreme will be defending their title at the Redding December Classic on December 13-14.......Go Xtreme!! |

Xtreme earned 1st highest in U14 division with 28 points.The girls were victorious over El Dorado Strikers 3-2, Elk Grove Cyclones 2-0, and River City Sparks 6-0. Playing with only 1 sub, battling heat and fatigue, Xtreme battled hard and earned high praise from opposing teams, parents and especially their coaches.
Next up Pleasanton August 23-24th. |

 Click image to enlarge Sonoma Xtreme played tremendous soccer at their first tournament of the 2008 season. Xtreme beat Santa Rosa 4-0, Loomis Eagles 4-2, and held Davis Revolution 0-0 on San Marin High turf.
Xtreme missed championship bracket by 2 points, having a well earned 22 points, taking home 3rd place. We are looking forward to some great soccer next weekend at the Elk Grove Sunstroke Classic.... |
