In its initial game, they faced Clippers defeating them 5-0.
In their second match, they faced San Bruno Panthers defeating them as well 5-0.
They were doing an awesome job however; the outcome of their third game determined who would play in the championship match later on Sunday afternoon. United faced the Eureka Attack and after the two half times and two minute extra time were still tied. The game ended in penalty kicks and they lost 4-5. So they went for the Consolation game, and Sonoma United set up right away the tone of the game. They score first which made it a little easier to mange the result of 1-0 placing 3rd place in the tournament. Congratulations Sonoma United!

Sonoma United started their three preliminary games with great courage and determination. Their first victory was defeating Redding 1-0. Then; Vacaville impulse 5-1 fallowed by Inferno 1-0.
This way the girls made it to the championship game. This time they played against U16G Sonoma Excel. Sonoma Excel scored first 2-0, but soon Sonoma United tied the score and they stayed tied for olmost all the game and it was at the very last minute when Sonoma Excel scored two more goals ending the game 2-4. |

 Click image to enlarge The U15G Sonoma United took Third place last 28th of September in the Santa Cruz Tournament.
On Saturday September 27th the girls played against the Dublin Eagles who they tied 1-1. Later that afternoon they played against the Jaws from Santa Cruz and even though our girls dominated the game neither one score and they end up with another tie, but this time 0-0.
On Sunday September 28th after a good night rest the girls came full of energy to played against the girls from American River who they defeated 5-0. However, despite that the team got invited they could only qualify to go for the consolation game. Here the girls defeated the Mustangs 2-0 without difficulty.

The United U15 girls have had a very successful tournament season so far. Besides taking 2nd this past weekend they have also taken 1st at the Sonoma State 6v6, 3rd place at the Novato Classsic and 1st place at the Rotary Cup Soccer Tournament in Santa Clara. |
